It is undeniable that any human activities give some significant impact to Earth, as his habitat. This happens so instantly in minutes. Because of the explosion in human population, forests which have a vital role as the world's lungs are cut down to create settlements, shopping centers, tourism areas, industrial areas, et cetera. Besides, it has been widely known that the forests as the warehouse of germinal plasma supply an abundant amount of biodiversity. There are thousands and even millions of species of plants, animals, and microorganisms which perform a specific role in the food chain, and even the balance of the ecosystem inside the forests. If a span of forest area is cut down it could mean the death for millions of those species. Let's imagine, how many species will die if the cutting down of forests goes on incontrollably?
Lets see the phenomena happening around us. The products with CFC, exhaust smoke, the foam from detergent and soap which are disposed into the aquatic area, pesticide and herbicide which are sprayed in exceed of the dosage suggested, heavy metal waste which are channeled to the sea, and many more are phenomena which will eventually destroy nature and reduce Earth’s age. The occurrence of acid rain will destroy buildings, global warming will melt the ice in the polar regions and land will disappear so that the species which are unable to adapt to the rise in temperature will die, are the examples of impacts we are currently facing. Then, what can we do? One of the things we can do to help is to instill in our children and other people the love and concern over the preservation of nature.
In support of that noble aim, Centrinova releases Savvy: Environmental Crisis which will discuss thoroughly the problems in the environment and how to overcome them. By learning the Savvy: Environmental Crisis, hopefully your students will be interested in managing the environment prudently together.
