Savvy : Human Body Systems is a multimedia-rich collection of learning materials studying the human body. This collection consists of 18 chapters of basic knowledge in regard to human body systems, packed within 3 CDs (each CD consists of 6 chapters). With many multimedia features and user-friendly interface, Savvy does more than merely transferring biology textbook into electronic media; Savvy presents the content through animation to help users to understand the learning material.
All learning materials in Savvy : Human Body Systems is maintained to the highest accuracy. To ensure the materials' accuracy, we have engaged an expert in the field of study, Khie Khiong, M.Si., M.Pharm.Sc., Ph.D., to review the materials. He is currently a teaching staff in Department of Biologi, Faculty of Medicine, Maranatha Christian University, Bandung, Indonesia. Savvy is meant not only for students, but also anyone who is interested in studying the systems within the human body. Therefore, Savvy contains learning materials that do not strictly follow the current curriculum. Anyone who uses Savvy will not find the inside materials out-of-date, as Savvy can be used by anyone, anywhere and anytime. Besides that, in its development, we ensure that Savvy can be used with any learning styles by maintaining the right proportion of the materials' presentation; be it in writing (for those who like to read), multimedia animation (for those who learn by watching and listening), or games (for those who like to play), Savvy has it all. Learning biology, especially Human Body Systems, is very challenging without supporting diagrams and pictures. Thus, Savvy is enriched with many illustrations, that are drawn as close as possible to their real images, so that users can feel as if observing the objects directly.
